New Carbon is driven by a vision to create sustainable, green, and commercially viable entrepreneurial environments that contribute to community upliftment through the development and application of biochar solutions.

Since June 2016, Fred Brown has served as Project Director, with Fred and the FBM team overseeing the development and delivery of new projects, ensuring efficient coordination and effective implementation across all areas of the business.

Our Focus

New Carbon focuses on renewable energy, food security, and environmental rehabilitation, with its work centred around:

• Soil and Agricultural Improvement: Enhancing soil quality, livestock health, and fertility, as well as supporting soil rehabilitation and water and effluent purification.

• Land Rehabilitation: Providing cost-effective, natural reclamation and restoration solutions for previously industrialised land within the mining and timber sectors.

• Industrial Energy Solutions: Utilising BioCarbon as an alternative co-firing source within the steel and iron-making industries, supporting efforts to reduce carbon emissions and associated carbon tax exposure.

• Community Energy Production: Generating energy from biomass to power appropriate technologies and help meet the growing energy demands of communities.
